As much as I would like, I can't take full credit for writing the whole Fast Edit caboodle, since I've used a few third party scripts and other resources to enhance the experience.

Thanks to the good folk at moxicode.com for developing this outstanding, FREE point-and-click WYSIWYG editor toolbar. Without this plugin, Fast Edit would be a boring text area, reliant on raw HTML code for the user-input.

TinyBrowser
Thanks to Bryn Jones at Lunarvis for allowing me to use version 1.41 of his brilliant file manager, which plugs-in so seamlessly to the TinyMCE WYSIWYG toolbar.

jQuery
Two thumbs up to the developers of jQuery; a javascript library that makes writing your own fancy animations and functions a doddle!

jQuery Cookie
Best wishes to "carhartl" who created this simple, lightweight utility plugin for reading, writing and deleting cookies (used alongside my custom functions to persist the open-state of the slide-down panels).
